RONDA AND SIERRA NEVADA (SOUTHEASTERN IBEX)

RONDA AND SIERRA NEVADA (SOUTHEASTERN) IBEX

These 2 species of ibex are found in the South of Spain, the Ronda ibex is hunted in the province of Malaga and the Sierra Nevada or Southeastern ibex in the province of Granada. These 2 are usually the smallest ones of all. Our area for the Ronda ibex is by far the best one in Spain, we buy the permits to the Goverment depending on the size the hunter wants, we can guarantee SCI gold medals. Our area for the Sierra Nevada or South Eastern ibex borders the National Park so this makes that most of the times we have a very good population of ibex specially during the winter time when there is snow in the higher areas or during the rut period.
We like to stay in a small village in the sea coast call Almuñecar, from here we have +- an hour drive to each one of the ibex so it is more or less in the middle. We use for accommodation the hotels around the village.
During the hunting most of the times we go to very nice local restarurants for lunch, at night we will go to some of the very nice restaurants that we can find in Almuñecar.
